During August, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is in the process of being treated, but has fallen in over $100,000 in debt and it will only continue to grow . She is stage three and needs a source to be able to pay medical bills. Over the first month and a half, she had hidden it from me, because I had just started my freshman year of college and she didn't want me to drop everything and fly 1,200 miles to come home, even though when she told that's all I wanted to. My mother is a very selfless person and makes sure everyone around her is taken care of before her own well-being.

She has been paying to her insurance $349 a month, only to find out that the Insurance doesn’t cover her Cancer treatment.

Her immediate treatment last one year, starting with Chemo the first five months following by Double mastectomy and then radiation, but the full treatment last 10 years, where the first 2 years She has follow ups every 3 months.

Throughout this entire emotional, messy, stressful time, all she has been thinking about is how I am doing because I am so far from home and can only do so much to help her. These funds will help her tremendously while being treated.
