In honour leading up to the 10th year anniversary of death of my grandfather Patrick William McCluskey who served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years for the Royal Canadian Navy, on May 2nd, 2026 I will be running 105km from the World War II American Navy vessels in the Musquash Estuary to the USA/Canada border carrying our Canadian National Flag.

In addition, I will be accepting donations through a go fund me link which all proceeds will be donated to the Royal Canadian Legions Poppy Trust Fund. This fund provides direct financial assistance to Canadian veterans, including CAF and RCMP members, and their families, supporting needs like housing, food, medical appliances, and emergency aid.

I will have a Garmin Tracking link available for citizens to follow along my journey and run sections with me if they want. Together we will celebrate and honour the lives of not only my Grandfather but for all of the veterans who have fought for our country.
