As a proud member of The Howarth Foundation’s Business Building Futures initiative, we’ve been honoured to support The Howarth Foundation for a long time now.

As a local charity whose work is crucial to those who are easily forgotten, The Howarth Foundation work to provide a Private Sector solution to a Public Sector problem. Through this, they support the homeless, recently re-housed, those fleeing domestic violence, sofa surfing or in unsafe accommodation, guiding them into employment or training.

One at a time and step-by-step, The Howarth Foundation changes lives, which is something we’re immensely proud to get behind.

Our 2023 Loch Ness team will include staff from all areas of Aura Print , from our Singing Customer Service Advisor to our Mountaineering Marketer, alongside members of The Howarth Foundation, friends, family & business associates of Aura Print.

MEET THE TEAM:

LIAM & MILLIE:

This dynamic duo is taking on Loch Ness with an unbeatable Father-Daughter bond. Liam, the hot tub aficionado and Director of Aura Print brings his impressive leadership skills to the boat, meanwhile, his daughter Millie, the speedy 14-year-old runner provides the youthful energy and endurance needed to power through the waves.

ZOEY & BRAD:

This brother & sister team have conquered mountains together and now they’re ready to take on the challenge of rowing Loch Ness. With a shared love of F1, camping, and the great outdoors, they’re no strangers to pushing themselves to the limit.

With their competitive and unwavering sibling bond, this pair is sure to wake up Nessie!

LAURYN & DOM:

Introducing Dom & Allan, the dynamic duo that’s about to make waves on Loch Ness!

First up is Dom, and when he’s not pumping iron, you’ll find him dazzling audiences on stage with his incredible musical theatre skills. From Christmas Panto to daring performances such as Bonnie & Clyde, he’s a real showstopper, and oh boy does he have an incredible set of pipes!

On the other side of the boat is Allan, who loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors, embarking on epic walking adventures. His love for nature is rivalled only by his passion for pool. With a cue in hand, Allan becomes a pool shark, sinking balls and impressing opponents with his strategic finesse.

JOHN & CHRIS:

Chris and John are Aura Print’s production superstars!

Chris is the go-to guy for all things large format and has an unwavering passion for Huddersfield Town FC that is only matched by his love for printing.

John, on the other hand, is a production team member by day, but at night he transforms into a rockstar, performing as a solo artist and with his band, Mundi Club.

JAMES & ANDY:

James, the chief Graphic Designer at Aura Print, is always ready for a challenge and loves exploring the great outdoors. Whether it’s camping, hiking, or swimming, James is always up for a new adventure.

Meanwhile, Andy is a thrill-seeker on two wheels, tearing up the trails on his mountain bike. When he’s not hitting the dirt, Andy is a talented musician, shredding his guitar with his band.

RACHAEL & JONO:

Rachael and Jono are a power duo, ready to take on the challenge of Loch Ness with their impressive paddling skills and top-notch navigation.

Rachael brings her famous mix of compassion and competitiveness to the team, as well as a history of long-distance fundraising events for The Howarth Foundation.

Jono is a true family man, always bringing joy to those around him!

ROB & JONATHAN:

Rob & Jonathan make up the ultimate due of experience and enthusiasm.

Rob’s competitive spirit and fitness prowess make him a formidable opponent on the water, while Jonathan’s patience and dedication to helping others make him a valuable teammate.

ANDY & GARY:

Meet Gary and Andy, the older statesmen of the expedition.

These guys have worked together for over 12 years; Gary is a strategic thinker, mentor and entrepreneur; Andy is a business owner and marketeer; they’re both suffering Leeds United supporters.

They have the added advantage that Andy joined us on our first Loch Ness row in 2011, so he’s no stranger to the task that lies ahead.

Our team will hit the A9 Northbound on Friday, 23rd June, rowing 54 miles over the following two days, and having feet back on Yorkshire soil on Monday, 26th June. With each rower towing three nights’ accommodation in their canoes, we’ll be packing light and pitching our tents along the way.
