Hi. I am the lucky big cousin of Rosie Hindmarsh

Rosie 31, and Fiancée Dave, live in their beautiful home in Liskard with son Oscar and daughter Ruby. They have recently had their lives turned upside down when Rosie was diagnosed with the late stages of Neuroendocrine tumours and carcinoid syndrome. Rosie’s story is below ;

I've had extreme symptoms for the past 11 months, which I had ignored as I thought it may have been grief related after losing my beautiful mum. After the symptoms got worse, I visited the doctors who sent me for all sorts of testing and procedures. My symptoms were extreme sweats. The worst abdominal pains, really awful toilet issues. They sent me for a full abdominal MRI scan. Just a day later. I was called to say I needed my appendix and lower bowel removed because it was extremely thickened.
After having the first operation they had the histology report back. And within 2 weeks I was told I had a late stage neuroendocrine carcinoid tumour. And before I knew it I was in for a right hemicolectomy. They tried to do it robotically but hit some difficulties. So it ended up being open surgery.
The idea now is to wait for results of the histology for that.
I have to see how my body copes and how it heals to decide on the option of having a full removal of my bowel and having a stoma bag.
Treatment is next!

This has hit hard, as a young family they have bills to pay and a young family to keep entertained which is difficult when they are in one wage. So I am looking to raise some pennies to help them out in anyway they need , whether that be helping with bills or treating their gorgeous children to a day out. Please help me to help them.

Rosie is an extremely proud person and will do what she needs to do to get by but I’m sure we can help out in any way we can. Please feel free to donate as little or as much as you can.

We cannot thank you enough! For your support and please , if you are noticing any changes in your body. …. Please get checked out!

much love
