Roshawn's Breast Cancer Journey

Hello! My name is Hunter and I am a manager of a physical therapy office in the US Virgin Islands. I have had the privilege to work with Roshawn for nearly 4 years and can speak to her expertise in her position, as well as her compassion, generosity, and warmth.

Roshawn was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, and the treatment she needed was not available in the territory. This led her to seek treatment in the US mainland, thus being unable to work for quite some time. This has resulted in a multitude of unexpected expenses, including medical, lodging, and care expenses. In addition to the financial load, she has had some complications along the way, only increasing the financial burden.

As a part of her work family, we have collectively decided to create a GoFundMe to help with the hardship Roshawn has been experiencing. Not only is she far away from where she has called home for most of her life, but all the while, experiencing this challenging journey in the middle of the holiday season. Though we wish we could be there in person to offer support, we are hoping to at least offer some relief from the financial burden.
