Rosendale Farmers Market "K.O. Hunger" Project
Spende geschützt
The Rosendale Farmers Market is honoring Ken Oldehoff's memory with the "K.O. Hunger" project.
Ken Oldehoff was a founder of the Rosendale Farmers Market 18 years ago and also helped facilitate the Market's ability to accept SNAP payments. He died in April of 2025 and to best honor his memory and continue his passionate efforts to address hunger and food insecurity locally, "K.O. Hunger" will provide extra tokens at the Rosendale Farmers Market to those in need. Food justice was a priority for Ken, and he strongly believed in expanding access to locally grown food across the Hudson Valley, and most of all in his beloved town of Rosendale.
Donations to "K.O. Hunger" will supplement SNAP exchanges with these bonus bucks, furthering Ken's dedication to caring for his neighbors with respect, support, and nutritious (and delicious!) local food.
Donations will be accepted online via this fundraising page, at the Farmers Market on Sundays (May 25 - October 26), or you can mail a check to Rosendale Farmers Market, PO Box 324, Rosendale, NY 12472.
