*A Room to Call His Own*

Julian was born in January of 2012. He spent 6 weeks in the hosital weening off of drugs. At 3 months old he was taken away by the DCF and placed into Foster Care. One month later, I had the privilege of bringing this sweet baby into my home.
Since May of 2012 it has been quite an adventure! Julian was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Craneosynostosis, and Chiari Malformation. He has had an EKG for heart valve problems, an MRI, a 24 hour EEG/EKG sleep study, an adenoidectomy for chronic sinus infections, and tubes in his ears for chronic ear infections. Whew! That's a lot to endure in 2 short years of life!
However, we have also had a lot of fun at Disney World, Ballgames, playdates, the beach, the pool, the playground and lots of joyous celebrations for birthdays and holidays. I am close with his birth mother and I am happy that he gets to visit with her and his 4 brothers. My daughter, mother, brother, and indeed my entire family and network of friends have provided so much love and support.
Now, after almost two years of custody, I will find out very soon if I get to adopt Julian! In order to complete the adoption process, he will need to have a room of his own. (Plus he needs somewhere to store all his toys he got for his birthday!) I've looked into moving to a bigger house, but it's just not going to work out right now. A wonderful friend is going to build the room for a very fair price, but it is still out of my budget. Any help is sincerely appreciated! Every dollar counts! Thank you so much!
