Rachelle is a kind, strong woman who has always taken care of herself, but this past year has brought more challenges than anyone should have to face alone. She cares deeply for animals and the kind humans around her. Over the years she’s mentored youth and visited nursing homes and hospice, now with her certified rescue dog André the Giant. Her favorite work is with animals , often going out of her way to provide food, healing, shelter, and warmth to those in need. Now, she’s the one who needs a helping hand. Recent severe weather caused significant damage to her roof, and the repairs are far beyond what she can afford on her own. Her home isn’t just her sanctuary — it's also a safe haven for the animals she loves so dearly.

Over the past year, she has faced:

The heartbreaking loss of her father, which has taken an emotional and financial toll.

And now, her roof is leaking and deteriorating, and has major damage putting her safety and home at risk.
