Months ago, Ron's eyesight started to deteriorate. His vision slowly became blurry and eventually his peripheral vision went completely. After many unsuccesful doctor visits, he finally found a doctor who understood the severity of the situation. That same day, Ron got an MRI which revealed he had 3 brain tumors. They were obstructing his optic nerve which explains the problems with his vision. On October 25th, 2017, Ron had his surgery. The surgery went well; however, Ron has (hopefully temporarily) lost vision in his right eye.

The recovery process will be long. Ron is unable to work for several months as the surgery was quite serious. Mal, his fiance, has also taken a bit of time off work to help Ron with everyday life. They were planning a wedding for July, 2018; however, planning has temporarily come to a hault due to the uncertainty of Ron's recovery process.

Ron is a father of four amazing kids and dog dad to Lucky. Also, him and Mal plan to start their own family soon. I know they would deeply appreciate any donations to help Ron have a stress free recovery, and in order to accelerate Ron back into the life him and Mal had been planning to start together. 

I am writing this from South Korea. My contract has kept me from coming home to help Mal and Ron with the recovery process, so I decided to create this Go Fund Me page as it's the least I can do to help my brother-in-law to be!
