My father, Ron Propp, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal cancer, and it has spread to his lungs, liver, kidneys and spleen. 

He is going to be starting chemotherapy treatment on June 26th. With treatment, the doctor is confident we can extend his life by a few years at least.

My family has always been on the lower end of the economic spectrum and I worry that this will only further attack their financial stability.  

I am reaching out to all our family and friends, and to anyone who is willing to help. My parents do not have the best insurance; I know the out of pocket expenses and copays will be an incredible burden on their finances and mental wellbeing. 

For those who know Ron, I am sure you know how much of an amazing, selfless man he is. Anytime anyone needed help, I know my father would do whatever he could do to help in the best of his capabilities, friend or stranger. 

Please help however you can. Whether that be a few dollars, or even just kind words for my father and the family.  Both my parents are currently unable to work due to this, and are facing serious financial burden. We are hoping to help take care of living expenses that are essential such as mortgage payments, utilities bills and food.
