Ron DiFrank - Helping Hearts (Post Heart Surgery)
From the friends of Ron DiFrank:
While at a weekend retreat with friends, Ron wasn't feeling well. Early in the morning on 5/1, he awoke in pain, and he just didn't look right to those in his cabin. The amblance arrived and took him to a local hospital in Brooksville where they discovered he had an aortic tear (tear in the large blood vessel leaving his heart). They immediately air flighted him to Shands Hospital in Gainsville for emergency surgery. This heart surgery, while it saved his life, also involves a long recovery time. Ron is now unable to lift more than 10 pounds for about 6 months!
As a self-employed Painting Contractor, that means he will be unable to work during this time. As a father of three girls and limited income during that time, this gives us the opportunity as his friends, his family, his church, and his community to rally for support. We are looking to raise funds for housing, utilities, and food while Ron is recovering. This will relieve him of the burden of providing for himself and for his three girls (Sherrie, Rachel, and Ashley), so he can focus on recovery. We really want to show the DiFrank Family the Love of Christ through this experience.
If you feel lead to give, please do so. All proceeds will go to supporting the DiFrank Family.
