Rome marathon for Cancer Connect

On 17th March 2024 I plan, with God's help, to run the Rome Marathon, 26.2 miles. The countdown is on!!!

I am fundraising for Cork Cancer Connect, a wonderful West Cork-based charity which makes a huge difference in the lives of many people undergoing cancer treatments. All donations are hugely appreciated!

Cancer Connect co-ordinates transport to Cork hospitals for passengers attending Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy treatments, and cancer related appointments. This often involves daily journeys for several weeks.

Cancer Connect has been in operation since 2011. Cancer Connect is a free, flexible and confidential service, that runs five days a week to Cork hospitals. The service is driven entirely by volunteer drivers.

The service is now offered throughout County Cork, and is firmly established in communities as a vital support for many to access Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy treatment in Cork Hospitals.
