Rock your socks

Donation protected
With the Covid-19 school and business closures, our major annual fundraiser is in serious trouble. Please donate and allow us to provide vital early intervention supports for children with Down Syndrome. We receive no government support and are entirely dependent on community donations.

Last year, the average donation was just €2. It all adds up!

The Down Syndrome Centre Cork was established in 2017 by a group of parents eager to supply vital supports to all children with DS in the Cork region. The Centre now provides best in class early intervention services at a heavily subsidised rate in order to provide all of our amazing kids with the best possible start in life.

Saturday 21st March is World Down Syndrome Day. Every year the Down Syndrome Centre Cork runs Rock your Socks where we ask students/staff to make a small donation and to wear colorful socks/tights for the day. It is a fantastic annual celebration of diversity!!

In previous years, over 185 schools and businesses supported this event and we raised over €30,000. In the absence of government support, our Charity has become very dependent on this annual fundraiser.

Please, donate what you can and help keep the dream alive. If you do donate, we would LOVE to see pictures of your Funky Socks so please tag with #RockYourSocks across social media.
