Robert Lague

Robert is now at home on hospice, and approaching the end of his life. We have now switched gears to end of life services. Robert Lague is a man beloved by so many people in so many places. We thank you all for the love and support ❤️

On January 1st, Robert took a fall at home, resulting in pneumothorax and two rounds of life support. During this hospital stay, the severity and reality of his condition was made apparent, he was in septic shock and was suffering with double lung antibiotic resistant pneumonia.

After the doctors decided he was stable enough to transition to a rehab facility against our requests, he has declined and not been eating or participating in care. He is now back at the hospital. We have been told there is little that can be done about Robert’s current condition if he does not have any fight left, and we have started the beginnings of planning in-home or in-patient hospice care. We are not losing hope, but are trying to prepare ourselves.
