Hurricane Relief for Santa Cruz and surrounding areas,Jamaica

Hello everyone,

We are two sisters, born and raised in Santa Cruz, Jamaica, now living in the UK. Our hearts are heavy as we watch the devastating impact of the recent hurricane on the place we once called home. So many of our friends, neighbours, and loved ones have lost everything their homes, belongings, and in some cases, even their sense of hope.

In response, we have started a Hurricane Relief Drive to support the people of Santa Cruz and surrounding areas. With the help of generous friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, we’ve already received numerous donations of clothing, bedding, food, and essential supplies a beautiful reminder of how much compassion still exists in the world.

Our next step is to ship these items to Jamaica and travel there ourselves with a small volunteer team. We will spend around 10 days on the ground, working side by side with local families to distribute the donations, offer a helping hand, and assist with rebuilding efforts within the community that shaped who we are.

The funds raised will go directly towards:

Shipping costs for the donated items

Accommodation and transportation for our volunteer team in Jamaica

Materials and supplies needed for rebuilding homes and community spaces

We know times are hard for everyone, but we also know that every little bit helps. Whether it’s £5, £50, or even sharing this campaign with others it all makes a difference. Your support will bring relief, comfort, and hope to families who have lost so much.
