My name is Jose A Gonzalez and I currently live in North Carolina. My entire family lives in Houston and was severely affected by the devastating floods of Hurricane Harvey. I am trying to help raise funds for them to start the process to recovery. There were a total of four (4) families who lost their homes and all their belongings.
The funds will be used for daily necessities: food, beverages, medicine, and clothing, cleaning supplies, toiletries, transportation and accommodations, as well as the immediate reconstruction of their homes. All funds are needed urgently.
We understand that the Gonzalez families were not the only people affected by this natural disaster. However, it has been impossible for them to be supportive of one another being that they all suffered this devastation simultaneously.
This is the first time our entire family has been affected to this magnitude. Due to the circumstances, we had no other option but to reach out to our friends and family for help. Words cannot express what your support will mean to the Gonzalez families and to those of us that are trying to make a little difference.
These families need all of us. Not only are they homeless, their daily lives and routines have been severely impacted. It is going to be a long process to recovery but your help can assist them in making it a little more bearable.
