Riya's fundraising for expedition to Vietnam

Hi, my name is Riya, and I am fundraising for a charity expedition to Vietnam in June 2023. It is a fantastic opportunity to help poor villages improve basic infrastructure that will undoubtedly improve their daily lives. Initially, our teams will trek to the remote project sites, where we will spend time engaging in tasks depending on the local's needs, including developing village infrastructure or working on environmental or agricultural amenities. For one of the projects, we will be based in the Pu Luong Nature Reserve, where we will work with the villagers to build concrete pathways/footpaths through and around the village to improve accessibility in the area. Additionally, I will be teaching basic English and Maths skills to the children in rural villages, where there is a lack of education. I would also help out families within the local villages with daily chores such as farming. Between now and the trip, I will be fundraising by washing cars, house cleaning, and working as an assistant rock climbing instructor, a qualification I obtained recently. I know it is a lot to ask, but even £1 will go a huge way towards me reaching my goal and being able to leave a lasting impression on a region that is plagued with poverty and underfunding.
