River's Journey

After a long hard labor, Jenni gave birth to a beautiful baby girl River Jeanne on December 19th. They soon found out that River was having some medical  issues and was rushed to the NICU at St. Marys Hospital. After many tests and procedures, we were told that both her kidneys were only working at about 10 percent and will need a kidney transplant. She will need to reach 22 pounds before she can have the transplant while at some point having 24/7 dialysis.  The Doctors have said River will more than likely be in the hospital until after her first birthday. River is such a strong little fighter and impresses us all every day. She has already gone through so much that most of us wont ever have too. Jenni and Timmy have barely left her side and have done such a great job taking this one day at a time. So much can change for River on a daily basis and so much information has been thrown at them and they continue to stay strong for each other and for baby River. They impress me everyday and are wonderful parents. River has blessed our family and couldnt be more loved than she already is. Please continue saying your prayers and making her stronger and healthier everyday.
