Hello my loves,
A dear friend of mine has just experienced a tragic loss. Her beloved husband, the beautiful Joel Lipman, passed away this past Friday.
I have known this beautiful man for over 20 years and can say he was truly an angel walking on this earth among us. The love he had for my beautiful goddess of a human being girlfriend, his beloved wife Lizette, and their two precious sons, Noah and Jack, was my template early on in life for the quality of man I wanted to marry one day. And it worked, I found 'my Joel'. To watch their love grow over the decades and to witness these two beautiful humans they brought into this world, has been an honor and a blessing and will continue on as Noah and Jack become the men they are destined to be.
As you can imagine, this is devastating for his entire family and all of us who knew him and loved him deeply; for his wife, sons, mother, sister and all his brothers-in-law, friends and anyone who ever had the pleasure to share a smile with this glorious man.
I would like to be able to present his family with as much support as possible during this time and as they move into the months and years that lie ahead. I want to build a college scholarship for the boys as well as allow Lizette to focus on her healing and being a mother to Noah and Jack and not be burdened with financial worries.
I hear Joel whispering in my ear, saying 'Please take care of my wife. Make sure she is okay. Surround her and my boys with as much love and support as possible. I know how much they are hurting; love them extra deep and extra hard for me.' I will Joel, I will. I promise.
Because of this, I am creating this space for us to come together and contribute to this beautiful family's journey right now. Many have asked me where to send flowers, food and cards. We invite you to donate here in lieu of flowers and we thank you; deeply.

We do know that another dear friend has started a Go Fund Me as well so if you have already given there we thank you.
I am honoring their space right now and giving them a wide berth during these extra delicate days; simply allowing them to process this shocking new reality that is their life now. Please do not discuss this with Lizette or the boys during this time. I will withdraw the funds and give them to Lizette within the next week or two. I will keep the fundraising open so that we can continue to contribute as time goes on. Please know that her heart will be overwhelmed with gratitude and love to all of you for being here for them all at this time.
