RISE UP! African Educational Fundraiser

Gratitude and many thanks for coming out to support this wonderful cause!!  It means the world to us, my family, and these amazing children you are supporting! 

My mother has built a school in Liberia, West Africa from the ground up.  Her strength, dedication, and determination has been an inspiration to her family and the community in Painsville, Liberia.  We are here now helping to support her and her efforts to continue to build the Alfred Richard Petters Institute for Early Learning.

The Alfred Richard Petters Institute for Early Learning was founded in 2011.  The school is situated on two acres of land in the heart of the city of Paynesville, Liberia, West Africa.   ARPIFEL is both an elementary and middle school. We start from K1 to 8th grade. The school carries 280 students total and each class holds 35 students.  The school is named after the Late Alfred Richard Petters Sr.  Mr. Petters was born on the 10 of July 1957 in the state of Colorado, in the United States of America. He worked as a humanitarian from the 70s up until he reunited with the Lord in 2002.  The school land and properties were all bought and planned by Mr. Petters and his wife Lucy D. Petters, before his untimely death.  The aim of the school is to prepare our young generation to be ready for a better tomorrow and future.  As of now our school has no affiliation with any governmental organizations or NGOs. ARPIFEL is a private educational institute and operates as such. The motto of the school is: PREPARING OUR YOUNGER GENERATION FOR A BETTER FUTURE.  

The school is currently still in great need of basic amenities. We are raising these funds to contribute to building a well, proper roofing, a cafeteria,  a library, bathrooms, chairs in classrooms, gardens, school supplies, and more.
