This fund has been set up to assist the family with funeral costs and to provide some relief during their time of bereavement.
It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Ian Luebbers on the 11th of June 2019. Ian was 24 years old - a champion Irish Dancer, a brother, and a friend to many in our global dance community. We offer deepest condolences to Ian’s family, (Laurie, Bob, Cassidy and Owen), his teachers Niall and Joanne at Holly+Kavanagh School, and to all the many families and colleagues who are grieving his loss.
Ian’s family and dancing teachers wish to extend their gratitude for the overwhelming support from Ian's friends, and from the Irish Dance community. In addition to this fund, the family and dancing school will be designating a charity in support of youth mental health initiatives.
Ian had friends from all around the globe, through the amazing community of Irish Dance. Accordingly, there will be services celebrating Ian’s life in both Pennsylvania and Dublin, details will be announced when they are finalised.
