L’obiettivo è ristrutturare il reparto di ginecologia e ostetricia che a causa del sempre maggior numero di pazienti, ogni anno oltre 40.000 provenienti da tutta la subregione, è giunto a un punto critico e richiede il vostro sostegno per rinnovare la sua vitalità.

Lavorando insieme, possiamo migliorare l'accesso alle cure, creare un ambiente favorevole alla fornitura di assistenza sanitaria di qualità e sostenere il personale eroico che dedica la propria vita al benessere altrui.
Con il suo status di ospedale di riferimento, l'ospedale Saint Jean de Dieu di Tanguiéta è l'unico ospedale religioso della zona, che riceve pazienti anche da ospedali della regione.
EN - The renovation is not just an intervention on walls and floors, but an act of love and dedication to our community. By working together, we can improve access to care, create an environment conducive to the provision of quality healthcare and support the heroic staff who dedicate their lives to the wellbeing of others. With its status as a referral hospital, the Saint Jean de Dieu Hospital in Tanguiéta is the only religious hospital in the area, receiving patients even from departmental or even central hospitals in the region.

IT - L’ospedale Saint Jean de Dieu è situato a Tanguiéta, in Benin. In particolare, la zona sanitaria di Tanguiéta-Matéri-Cobly è una delle 34 zone sanitarie del Benin, situata nel nord-ovest del Paese. Si estende su una superficie di 7.900 km2 e ha una popolazione stimata di 282.035 abitanti.
EN - The Saint Jean de Dieu Hospital is located in Tanguiéta, Benin. The Tanguiéta-Matéri-Cobly health zone is one of 34 health zones in Benin, located in the north-west of the country. It covers an area of 7,900 km2 and has an estimated population of 282,035.
Qual è il Nostro Obiettivo?/ What is our Goal?
IT - Nel corso degli anni, l'ospedale ha registrato un aumento significativo del numero di pazienti, attirando persone non solo da Tanguiéta, ma anche dalle regioni vicine. Questo afflusso di pazienti ha esercitato una notevole pressione sulle strutture esistenti, portando all'usura delle attrezzature e delle infrastrutture. Purtroppo, l'ospedale non sempre dispone delle risorse finanziarie necessarie per effettuare riparazioni e ristrutturazioni adeguate. La qualità dei servizi offerti è quindi minacciata da questo progressivo deterioramento delle infrastrutture, che compromette la capacità dell'ospedale di fornire un'assistenza sanitaria ottimale a chi ne ha più bisogno. L'obiettivo di questo progetto è quello di modernizzare le strutture esistenti per creare un ambiente favorevole alla fornitura di assistenza sanitaria di qualità.
Il progetto di ristrutturazione interesserà il reparto di ginecologia e ostetricia, che dispone di 64 letti di degenza. Questo progetto è di fondamentale importanza per l’Ospedale Saint Jean de Dieu di Tanguiéta. Permetterà all'ospedale di mantenere e migliorare i propri standard, di soddisfare la crescente domanda dei pazienti e di continuare a offrire servizi sanitari e sociali di qualità alla popolazione svantaggiata della regione. È un progetto ambizioso che coinvolge, in termini operativi le seguenti tre macro-aree:
- Riabilitare le infrastrutture del reparto di ginecologia e ostetricia dell'ospedale entro 12 mesi;
- Migliorare il quadro di riferimento per la somministrazione di procedure mediche e la gestione dei pazienti entro 12 mesi;
- Garantire la riorganizzazione del personale di pulizia e manutenzione dell'ospedale entro 12 mesi.
EN - Over the years, the hospital has experienced a significant increase in patient numbers, attracting people not only from Tanguiéta, but also from neighbouring regions. This influx of patients has put considerable pressure on the existing facilities, leading to wear and tear on equipment and infrastructure. Unfortunately, the hospital does not always have the financial resources to carry out adequate repairs and renovations. The quality of the services offered is therefore threatened by this progressive deterioration of the infrastructure, which compromises the hospital's ability to provide optimal healthcare to those who need it most. The objective of this project is to modernise the existing facilities to create an environment conducive to the provision of quality healthcare.
The renovation project will affect the gynaecology and obstetrics ward, which has 64 in-patient beds. This project is of paramount importance for the Saint Jean de Dieu Hospital in Tanguiéta. It will enable the hospital to maintain and improve its standards, to meet the growing demand of patients and to continue to offer quality health and social services to the disadvantaged population of the region. It is an ambitious project that involves, in operational terms, the following three macro-areas:
Rehabilitate the infrastructure of the hospital's gynaecology and obstetrics department within 12 months;
Improve the framework for the administration of medical procedures and patient management within 12 months;
Ensure the reorganisation of the hospital's cleaning and maintenance staff within 12 months.

IT - Il costo stimato di questo progetto è di 29.926€ ed è riassunto nella tabella seguente:
A Epsilon è stato richiesto di finanziare i rimanenti 20,192€.
La voce restante di 9,739€ sarà finanziata dall'Ordine dei Fatebenefratelli. Vi è poi una parte di progetto legata alla formazione del personale medico, paramedico e di manutenzione che non prevede costi, in quanto sarà gestita con risorse interne all’ospedale.
Abbiamo già raccolto 15.000€, chiediamo a Voi di supportarci per una tranche pari a 2.000€, che destineremo alla riqualificazione di una parte dell’impianto idraulico.

Epsilon was asked to finance the remaining €20,192.
The item of €9,739 will be financed by the Order of Fatebenefratelli. There is also a part of the project related to the training of medical, paramedical and maintenance staff, which does not include costs, as it will be managed with internal hospital resources. We have already collected €15,000, we ask you to support us for a tranche of €2,000, which we will allocate to the upgrading of part of the plumbing system. With your help we could support:

IT - Epsilon è un’associazione Onlus che dal 2004 finanzia progetti a sostegno di bambine e bambini disagiati nei paesi in via di sviluppo, in particolare nelle aree sanità, educazione e alimentazione.
L’associazione è composta unicamente da volontari e tutti i progetti hanno zero spese generali: il 100% della raccolta è destinato alle cause!
Il nostro obiettivo è di convertire la totalità delle donazioni in progetti a favore dei bambini e delle bambine nel mondo.
