Ride To Washington DC by Bicycle

Donation protected
My name is Joseph Major General Brown, I am an activist that has been on the front lines fighting for Black people for fifteen years against police brutality, fighting for police reform and against hate. I have sadly been a victim of police brutality, I have been beat up by the police, put in the hospital by the police and falsely arrested while out protesting against police brutality.       Here is my instagram with my activity as a protestor fighting for the BLM cause.        I am a leader that is part of the Uptown Freedom Ryders. We are raising money to support the Black Lives Matter movement as well as Uptown Freedom Ryders.  As young  Black people, we are trying to make a impact on the world as well as the White House. This is why we are Riding to Washington, D.C. because August 25 is the day that Dr. Martin Luther King made his great speech to the world and changed it for the better.       This Saturday August 22, 2020, we will begin our bike journey from New York City to arrive in Washington, D.C. by August 25th. The journey to D.C. is ~250 miles from New York, we will try to accomplish the trip in 2 days but will give ourselves 1 extra day in case we are unable to keep the 100+ mile per day pace up for any reason. We have a few medics that will be with us if someone gets hurt. We are making this journey BY BIKE! So it will be a huge test but one we will pass because the fight must go on until We The People have won!       With Your donation to us, you will help further the cause to helping the Black Lives Matter Movement because we are going to Washington, D.C. to fight against the injustice that currently plagues America, for causes such as police reform, police brutality, and gun violence. The donations will be used to help us support and fight for the Black Lives Matter Movement by: 1. Helping us get to Washington, D.C. from New York City including lodging. 2. Support vehicles that will help to keep us safe to D.C and back. 3. Any emergency costs such as transportation in case someone is unable to make it for whatever reason. 4. Any repairs for our bikes that arise as a result of us riding to D.C. by bike. 5. Any other supplies that we will need to get everyone from point A to B safely.       This support means everything to us as a people because the people United will never be defeated for the Black Lives Matter Movement.
