Riccardo's road to recovery

Many of you know the story of our son Rico, he was diagnosed with bilateral (both feet being effected) clubfoot at 20 weeks gestation. Once he was born, we flew to the Shriners Hospital in Montreal to start treatment. We did weekly casts for 3 months, did 1 surgery at 3 months old to cut the Achilles’ tendons to drop both heels and then he wore boots and bar for 6 months-23 hours a day and then only at night until present day, so for the longest time he didnt get to enjoy his child hood as much as he wanted to.


Hes 3 and a half years old now and for the last 1.5 yrs hes been enjoying life like a regular kid, walking, running and even tried his hand at skating. 

Unfortunately 6 month ago we've notice that his left leg has been relapsing,  his specialist in montreal had told us that he would need to go through a 12 week process to correct it, this will include 2 sets of casting taking 3 weeks each, 1 surgery and another set of casts for 6 weeks following his surgery, plus his 2 full leg braces and rehabilitation on top of it all. 
He has a long and hard journey ahead of him.  

We are looking to friends and family to help us with the cost of everything that comes with this surgery to ensure Rico gets all the rehabilitation and treatment he needs so he can go back to enjoying his young and beautiful life.
