Join Rhody's Army: Support His War On Cancer

Hello, my name is Rhody and I am probably the cutest thing you have seen all day! You would never know by looking at me, but I have a pretty big problem with my heart ❤️‍.

My doctor found a tumor in the right side of my heart and I want it out! My cardiologist tells me that I will very likely have to have open-heart surgery in the next few days.

I am staying at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital in Charleston, SC, which is great because they have the best heart doctors in the whole country! But we live over 200 miles away (that's a lot) and my family is having to travel back and forth and live in hotels. My super cool uncle says 200 miles is too far to drive to cook dinner and bring it back, and that's why we get to eat all this delicious (and expensive!) fast food.

My parents, big brother, and family are all very worried and concerned. I know that no one can help us not worry about right now or the future, but you can help my mom and dad not worry about the financial impact this is going to have on our family.

Anything you can do to help me and my family make it through this heartbreaking crisis is more appreciated than I can put into words; I am only 18 months and cannot talk yet, but you know what I mean!
