Community Thanksgiving Meal

The Love Thy Neighbor Community Thanksgiving Meal is being held for members of the Elgin community, and it's right around the corner. Due to the pandemic, the event has not been held in two years, but we are excited to bring it back and potentially feed over 1,000 community members.

The event will take place on Thanksgiving Day at First United Methodist Church of Elgin, located at 216 E. Highland Avenue, Elgin, IL, 60120.

We need as many donations as possible to help feed the community and host the day of the event. We need donations of food and beverages. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated!

$5.00 will feed a member of the community.

$25.00 will feed a family of 5

$50.00 will feed a table of 10

$100.00 will feed 20 of your neighbors!

We also have volunteer opportunities available on the Love Thy Neighbor Thanksgiving Meal website. Several shifts are available

Any help or donation, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated and is very much needed.
