Carson

for those of you that don’t know…..This is Carson’s storyon the 23rd December carson started being poorly. He started throwing up and complaining of headaches. We didn’t think much of it at first as we thought he was just coming down with something. He carried on being poorly up until New Years. A few days after New Year’s Day he started to get worse headaches and began being sick more often. We took him to pinderfields hospital and got sent home with a diagnosis of migraines. We were told his headaches would subside with paracetamol and ibuprofen. His headaches started to get worse to the point he was woken up screaming his head was hurting. We rang 111 on 25th jan and was told to bring him in as soon as we could. As soon as we got there he was taken for a ct and discovered he has a brain tumour on the left side of his brain. By the 27th jan the amazing neuro surgeons at lgi managed to remove the tumour in a 10 and a half hour operation which was successful in removing the full tumour. However he needs further treatment which is a radiotherapy treatment called proton therapy. He will be getting this treatment Monday to Friday for 6 weeks however we have been informed to receive this treatment carson will have to travel to either Manchester or Germany depending on the availability of the treatment in each of these places. I have set up this go fund me to help support the family through these difficult times. Arron is self employed so will not be able to work for the 6 weeks maybe plus that they will be there receiving treatment. Stacey and Arron also have 4 other children I was hoping that if we could raise something to help so that worrying about money is not on their minds and they can just concentrate on getting our little superhero better
