Louviers Conservation Partnership

We are Louviers Conservation Partnership. Louviers is a small, rural, historic town in Douglas County with a rich history. 

We are currently fighting to prevent the construction of an asphalt plant less than a football field away from the town. 

We are a group of Louviers residents and surrounding community members that have come together to protect the beauty, integrity and health of Louviers, and surrounding Douglas County communities. 

We feel Louviers and Douglas County in general is a place where people come to safely raise their families and thrive. Having an asphalt plant that close to home does not sit well with the majority our neighbors and surrounding communities.

We may be a small town but we will not sit back and allow corporate giants do as they please: threatening our health, community, surrounding wildlife and nearby neighborhoods. This is our home, and we will do everything in our power to protect our right to thrive here. 

This is our initial fundraiser to help with the costs of formation of our non profit as well as tools to campaign, spread awareness and gain support, and to collect data to support our cause when we face the county commissioners and fight the permit that the corporation is seeking to build their asphalt plant.
