YOUTH COMMUNITY CENTER

We are Joeroyal and Yolanda Evans, along with our son Joeroyal Jr., the owners of a building located in Scotland Neck, Nc. We have the hopes of transforming it into a Boys and Girls club, a place where children can thrive and grow. In pursuit of this goal, we recently had the opportunity to meet with the Town Council, bringing together all the necessary parties to make this dream a reality.

The address of the building is 1202 Main St, Scotland Neck, Nc 27874. It is a spacious, 9,100 square feet. We firmly believe that this building has the potential to become an extraordinary Boys and Girls club. Our plans include the installation of a full basketball court, a volleyball court, and several classrooms. These amenities will undoubtedly serve as valuable assets for the community.

Scotland Neck is currently facing a crisis, having declared a state of emergency in November due to the escalating crime rates. As someone with 21 years of experience in child development and daycare, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact of supervised environments on children. It is my firm belief that establishing a Boys and Girls club in Scotland Neck will not only benefit the children but also provide employment opportunities for the youth in our community.

The ultimate goal is to support and empower young people, offering them a safe and productive space to utilize their talents and skills.

In light of this, we are seeking the assistance of the community, the state, and anyone who is willing to help to renovate the building.

Together, we can create a place where our youth can thrive, work, and contribute to the betterment of our society.
