Reunite Refugee Mom with Her Kids

Many of you know  my friend Ramatoulaye Camara and her twins Hassan and Houcine.  They are refugees from Mali.  You may not know that she has two older children (both boys, Idriss, age 8 and Ali, age 12) still in Africa that she had to leave behind when she fled to Turkey  (where she eventually gained refugee status from the United States). She has been diligently working to obtain visas to bring the boys to the US and she is in the final stages of the process.  The boys are living in difficult circumstances and Ramatoulaye is understandably anxious to be reunited with them.

She should be able to fly to Mali to bring the boys back to Chicago sometime in the next 3 months or so.  For that purpose, we are trying to raise money for airfare for her and her twin boys (Hassan and Houcine) to go and bring the older boys back to the US.  With taxes and fees the cost will be around $4,000.
