Raise the roof and upgrade Restore Kauai in Kapaa

Our main support beam is deteriorating and will collapse. I cannot afford the cost of a new 40ft beam and the labor to install it. Instead I am going to make a combination of 6x6 post and 2x8 lumber to build a new beam and supports and do the  labor myself. Also I need to rent a roof jack to lift the roof while I slide the posts underneath. Also our facility is in need of general repairs. The thrift store deck is rotting, the doors on the thrift store are falling apart, the back side of the building roof leeks and needs new tin roofing. The list goes on and on. Any money left over after repairs will be used for upgrades such as better signs, advertising, better shelves, etc...

Restore Kauai helps the community by giving Island residents a place to donate their unwanted items, which we sell for a very reasonable price. Also it helps keep usable items from going to the small Island land fill. It's a win-win-win situation for everyone. 

I could use the funds as soon as possible. I closed down a large portion of the store  until I complete the repairs. That  means I do not have a dry area for new items and will have to stop taking donations. Which means those items will probably end up in the land fill even know they are very usable.
