Restore Flowering Soulfully Sanctuary
Flowering Soulfully Sanctuary is a native plant habitat that pre- Hurricane Ida was flourishing in my mom's backyard in Baton Rouge. It is certified Gold by the Louisiana Native Plant society and is a certified Pollinator Habitat by the Xerxes society, and in addition to being a home to hummingbirds, Eastern Bluebirds, Tiger Swallowtail butterflies, and a whole array of beautiful creatures, it is also hugely important to my mom. Her health makes it very physically challenging to do the hard work of gardening, and yet she has put countless hours of hard and creative work into making the Sanctuary a place of respite for all creatures.
Support will fund hiring helpers to put the Sanctuary back together again after Ida knocked over just about everything, and replacing plants shredded by the winds. With your help, the Sanctuary will be flourishing again in no time!
Thank you so much for reading!
