ReportOUT are a brand new SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) human rights organisation based in the United Kingdom.

Who are ReportOUT?
ReportOUT is a human rights research organisation that documents the lived experiences of SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) people and communities in different nations across the globe. We use our research to inform the public, educate others and to influence governments and organisations about SOGI human rights infringements and lived experiences.
Our aims:
The aims of ReportOUT are:
(a) Highlighting infringements of SOGI human rights across the globe;
(b) Researching and collating data on the lived experiences and respect given to human rights of SOGI populations within nation states across the globe;
(c) Promoting public awareness and increased understanding of lived SOGI human rights abuses across the globe;
(d) Influencing, supporting and informing international advocacy of SOGI human rights across the globe: and,
(e) Commenting on proposed SOGI human rights legislation and offering technical advice to governments and others on SOGI human rights matters.
We have just gained office space and are urgently after equipment to enable us to do our work. Funds raised by our GoFundMe will help us with the following:
- Paying inclusive volunteer costs (local travel costs) for our team of new volunteers who will help to research SOGI human rights abuses;
- Help to pay for our SurveyMonkey software, which translates into multiple languages, so we can send out our global survey to document SOGI human rights abuses and the lived experiences of SOGI people;
- Pay for an additional laptop for our volunteers (we have three desks and only two laptops)
We have secured the funding for the office space, had a generous donation of office furniture and we have gained two laptops. Now we just need enough to cover the rest of our costs and we are ready to go!
