Repair North Plains Elemetary's Community Garden

Hi Everyone,

North Plains Elementary School's community garden was damaged over the summer, with raised beds collapsing, stepping stones broken, pumpkins pulled off of vines, and more. This community garden is a regular outlet for the elementary school students of the North Plains community to learn about the environment and have the opportunity to grow plants themselves. Unfortunately, these damages to the raised beds have reduced the amount of growing space that the school can utilize.

My name is Ekansh Mittal, and I am a life scout of Troop 728 from Beaverton, Oregon. I learned about these damages through Nextdoor and desperately wanted to help. I am coordinating an Eagle Scout Project through which we will rebuild the school's raised beds, replace the soil, and purchase new stepping stones to make the path more accessible.

I have made this Gofundme on behalf of North Plains Elementary School to raise money that will be directly used to purchase materials required for this project (lumber, soil, tools, etc.), and all additional funds will be given to the school to be used for future repairs or projects. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated. North Plains has a beautiful community garden, and I am super excited to have the opportunity to get it fixed.
