Renee Sharpe for Mayor: A Sharpe Alternative for Positive Change
My name is Renee Sharpe and I will be running for Mayor of St. John's this September. I am a strong voice and a leader here in St. John's. As an entrepreneur, a proud woman in the trades, as a Wen-Do women's self defence instructor, I have the skills and the know how to run this city. I will work towards policy changes that better meet our needs as a community; moving towards equal pay, working towards a safer city that supports harm reduction models to address our opioid crisis, and working towards supporting economic growth and better use of the under-utilized establishments and spaces we have in the city. Creating a city that supports our collective needs, as well as the needs of under represented people who want a good,vibrant life. That's what I'm here to do with you.
