Honoring Noel Brandon: A beloved father, son, brother, friend and teacher of life.
On New Year's morning, our world shattered. Noel - a loving father, devoted son, loyal friend, incredible uncle, and passionate outdoorsman - was tragically killed after being hit by an alleged drunk driver while training for an ultramarathon. In an instant, a life so full of love, light, humor, generosity and purpose was taken from us far too soon.
Noel was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome. He was always the one with a warm smile, the first to lend a hand and the last to leave when someone needed help. Whether he was out fishing, scouting for elk, riding down a dirt road, or simply just exploring nature, he didn't just love the outdoors - he shared it with his family and friends. He had a gift for teaching the next generation, especially his son, Leon and his nephews, Donny and Cooper. He lived every day with heart and always found time to laugh.
Noel was also incredibly proud of his work. He was an amazing HVAC technician and instructor - dedicated, knowledgeable, reliable and respected by all. He didn't just show up for a job; he showed up for people. Alongside his technical work, Noel was passionately dedicated to suicide prevention and supporting mental health within Local 32. He cared fiercely about protecting others, checking in, making sure people weren't carrying their burdens alone, and creating a real impact in his community. He wanted people to know they mattered and so many lives were touched because of that compassion.
As a father, Noel was everything. He was present, loving, playful, patient and full of pride for his son. He poured his soul into creating memories, laughter and stability. Losing him leaves a hole in our lives that cannot be filled.
Many have asked how they can help. This GoFundMe has been created to meet the immediate needs of Noel's son, Leon. All contributions will go directly toward caring for Leon during this time and honoring Noel's commitment to providing for his son. We appreciate your support.
