Remembering James Miller: Funeral Assistance

My name is LaTrina Miller, and I am the sister of James Miller, who tragically passed away at his home in Peoria, Illinois, on December 22, 2024, 3 days before Christmas. This devastating event has left our family burdened with significant financial expenses, including funeral and travel costs from Texas to Illinois for his mother, children, grandchildren, and siblings.

James, affectionately known as “Mook,” was eagerly anticipating meeting his one-month-old granddaughter for the first time on Christmas. However, he was cruelly taken away from us, leaving us in profound grief.

James was the only son of my mother and had two children, a 21-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son.

On December 27, 2024, the individual responsible for this heinous act was apprehended and charged with first-degree murder.

In light of this tragedy, we humbly request donations to assist with the financial burden of James’s funeral expenses. Any contribution, no matter its size, would be greatly appreciated.
