Remembering Carolyn Steele: Funeral Fund

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carolyn Steele on May 4th, 2025. Carolyn was a very compassionate person who gave to others without an expectation of return. She touched so many lives with her warm spirit, custom crochet blankets for all new babies, or her warm homemade Christmas cookies. Her spirit was felt throughout the neighborhood and everywhere she went.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of funeral expenses and to honor Carolyn Steele’s memory. Carolyn loved to crochet and was a dedicated daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her legacy will continue to inspire us. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to cover funeral costs.
