In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
We are reaching out on behalf of a young Muslim sister, 20 years old, the eldest daughter of an immigrant family.
For years, she has carried a responsibility far beyond her age. As the eldest of nine younger siblings, she has stepped in to care for them while her single mother faces severe health challenges. She helps feed them, dress them, take them to school, and provide emotional support at home.
Despite her strength, this sister has now been diagnosed with a mental health disability that has made working long hours impossible. Yet she continues to push forward, supporting her family as best she can.
At this point, she is seeking help for two essential reasons:
1. To secure stable housing closer to school.
Due to her condition and family responsibilities, she can no longer manage a long commute. In September, she must move closer to her university or face daily commutes of up to three hours, which her health cannot handle.
2. To cover basic living costs while continuing to support her siblings.
Even as she pursues her studies, she does not wish to leave her family behind. Her goal is to balance education while continuing to help at home whenever possible.
This is not a request for luxury or ease — this is a request for survival and stability under difficult circumstances.

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:
“And cooperate in righteousness and piety.”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah, 5:2)
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261)
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.”
(Surah Ash-Sharh, 94:6)
⸻
Her intention is sincere:
• To secure rent and living expenses near her school.
• To continue supporting her family while building a future where she can better provide for them.
We are calling on the Muslim community to assist quietly and sincerely. The sister has chosen to remain anonymous, not out of pride, but out of modesty and respect for her family.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever relieves a believer’s hardship, Allah will relieve their hardship on the Day of Resurrection.”
(Sahih Muslim)

If you are able to contribute, even in a small way, may Allah multiply it for you in both this life and the next.
If you are not able to give, we kindly ask you to share this message and make du’a for her and her family.
May Allah protect all our homes, our families, and our health. Ameen.
