Relief Fund for Family of Exploitation

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am setting up this request for my niece and her four children. On September 5th, my niece found proof that the man she had been in a relationship for 8 years, had images of her 13 year old daughter on the said man's old cell phone. After further investigation, my niece found hidden cameras were installed in her daughter's bedroom, and these cameras were linked to this man's old cell phone. The 13 year old is not the man's biological child however, he helped raise the daughter for the past 8 years. When confronted with this evidence, the man ran from their residence. The police were called and charges were filed against the man. He was taken into custody shortly thereafter and bonded out a few days later. Yes, he is currently out on bond until his unknown court date, and has been seen driving by the victim's residence. Restraining orders have been filed against the man.

My niece has 4 children, ages 13, 11, 5 and 3. The two younger children are the man's biological children. My niece has been a stay at home mom raising her children. Her youngest is special needs with down's syndrome so aside from a monthly stipend from the government to assist with his care, she currently has no other income. She has spoken with their landlord and found out that the man was behind on paying their rent, close to $3,000. She has filed for victim's relief financial assistance but that is for $1,000 and this will take time to receive.

We are seeking further resources to assist her in paying off the past due rent and move her into a cheaper residence that is unknown to the man. She will need a deposit and first months rent up front along with utilities and such. If the rent is not caught up, she, along with all four children, will be homeless. The need is quite dire. Not only is the fear of the man attempting to approach the residence but also the fear of having no place to live.

I am setting up this fund to assist my niece in her situation. If you are able to financially help out, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are aware of any further financial victim assistance, any information would also be appreciated.
