I’m not someone who normally likes asking for help, but I’m at a point where I really need it.

I’m a 22 year old mom of two young boys. I recently became a single mom and now have 100% custody of my children, with no child support coming in. I’m responsible for providing for my boys while working full-time in healthcare and continuing my education.

My oldest son, Justin, has Down syndrome and has additional developmental and medical needs. Both of my boys attend daycare, where they also receive important therapies and developmental services. Getting them to daycare is not optional for us. It’s how I’m able to work and how my boys are able to receive the care and therapy they need.

That’s why not having a reliable car has become such a major problem for our family.

My current car has had serious mechanical problems and has become extremely unreliable. I need a dependable vehicle to get myself to work so I can continue providing for my children. I also need to be able to safely get my boys to daycare and their therapies, as well as doctor’s appointments, school, and everything else that comes with raising two young children.

I’ve been trying to make things work and have looked into different options, but getting another vehicle is financially out of reach for me right now. I’m not looking for anything fancy or new. I just need a reliable used car that I can count on every day.

The past several months has been a continuously really difficult transition for our family. I’m working full-time, going to school, and raising two little boys by myself. I’m doing everything I can to keep moving forward and give my children a stable life.
