Relay for Ríoghnach

We are running the Belfast relay marathon 2022 this May to raise money and awareness for The Lullaby Trust and in memory of our dearly missed and beautiful Ríoghnach

Ríoghnach’s mummy Emma has said;

‘Ríoghnach was perfect and healthy. A baby a parent would dream off. Until the 15th October she was took from us with no explanation as to why she passed. 

Our worst nightmare was realised. We don't understand how she could be awake, alive and healthy one hour before and how much can change I 60 minutes. We had done everything by the book with Ríoghnach and she still passed from sudden infant death syndrome.  We went from booking her christening on Thursday to arranging her funeral the next day.

We will never know why our perfect and beautiful Ríoghnach Roo passed away, but we want everyone to know how special and perfect she is and how much we love her and miss her, and have as much research put into sids and why our perfect and healthy babies are gone and hopefully be there to support other parents going through the same thing and prevent this as much as we can.

No parent should have to bury their child. 

We love our perfect Ríoghnach Roo and we hope to do her proud by doing this in her memory.

She will forever be our perfect 8 week old baby girl.’
