Regan Smith - Family Support

As many of you are aware, our colleague Regan Smith suffered a significant stroke last month, which has left him in a coma still today. Our thoughts and prayers have remained with Regan and his family as his wife Libby keeps us updated on his status through the Caring Bridge site (caringbridge.org/visit/regansmith).

Recently we learned Regan has been moved to a long-term facility where he will receive the needed care for what will most likely be a long road to recovery. Family and friends, possibly even some of you, have provided the much appreciated support for the family in varying ways over the past few weeks. Regan and Libby have a beautiful family with 4 children - Leah 12, Delaney 15, Miles 17 and Anna 19 - who are dividing their time spending 12 hour days at Regan's side.

Like many of you, my family enjoys the summer months which includes weekend getaways, sport camps and the kids earning a little extra spending money from summer jobs. As you can imagine, nothing about this summer will be "normal" for the Smith family. Perhaps through this platform we can support the family in a way that will allow them to participate in activities or planned events as time allows, while also being able to be side-by-side, focusing on Regan.

Regan is one of the most thoughtful people I know. He would be humbled by the thoughts and prayers taking place on his behalf.
