Refugees crisis Bosnia's Red Cross

In November 2018, I visited my homeland Bosnia following a project of migration routes studies.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, a war-destroyed country itself, is dealing with an unprecedented migrant crisis on its borders, at the doorstep of the European Union. 

Over 4000 migrants have arrived in Bihać’s area: this city of 60.000 people has no infrastructure or resources to deal with this situation. Winter is fast approaching and people arriving need everything: from meals to clothes, and all of that is provided through the Red Cross of Bihać. 

With only 38 employees and it’s volunteers, they have to provide 3000 meals per day, sanitary basic conditions, clothes, other than give a piece of humanity to every single soul who has run away from war, poverty or oppressive regimes. 

The  migrants  are not allowed into the EU, and will certainly spend this winter in extremely difficult conditions. Join me in helping these Red  Cross  urban angels  who  make  their  existence  less  painful:  let us alleviate the suffering of those who are not privileged and are running for their lives.
