Refugee-led education and peacebuilding in Sudan

Help us support an inspiring local refugee-led NGO in Sudan that is working to rebuild lives of displaced people through education, peacebuilding, and sustainable livelihoods. Your donation, however small, will make a big impact. It will go directly to community-led projects that bring hope, healing, and opportunity to people affected by conflict and poverty.

This is an ongoing fundraiser supporting multiple projects, so you can choose to give generally or toward a specific area of impact (see below).

Why This Matters

Ongoing conflict in Sudan has led to the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. Just over the border in Renk, South Sudan, a refugee-led organization brings hope and opportunity to displaced people like themselves. Where access to school is disrupted and livelihoods are negligible, this refugee-led NGO steps in to create opportunities—especially for youth and women. Through education, training, drama, art, sports, and practical training, they build peace, offer trauma healing, reduce tensions, and equip people to support themselves.

How Funds Are Used

All funds raised are transferred directly to the NGO for project use. No money is used for administration or salaries. Every dollar goes toward supplies, tools, or materials that have a direct impact.

I am a U.S. citizen personally connected with the local leadership team, managing this fundraiser to transfer financial support safely and transparently.
