Afghan Refugee Resettlement - Huntsville

Hi, our names are Julie & Ben Johnson; we are the lead resettlement sponsors for an Afghan Family. We are raising money to help resettle an Afghan Refugee family in Huntsville. The family is a father, mother, and SIX kids between the ages of 5 and 15. For over four years, the father was a guard at the US Embassy and Kabul. When the US Troops withdrew, and the Taliban took over, the family had to flee Afghanistan with nothing. They arrived in Huntsville in January and are adjusting to life in the United States.

We are asking for donations to help with the necessities over the next year, like rent, utilities, clothes, food, etc. Please take the opportunity to directly support a family that helped US Troops and US Personnel during the war in Afghanistan. All donations will go directly into their savings account to help them start a new life.
