Refresh Your Day - A Twininings Short Film

Hello everyone! My name is Eren Barokas, and welcome to my latest journey in making a film project I’m passionate about come to life. This project will be a bit different than other film projects, but that is also what I believe makes it special.

I’m proud to announce that me and my talented film crew have teamed up with Twinings - yes, THAT Twinings - to make a short narrative commercial film for their soft sparkling iced tea. Now, what will make this brand film any different? Well, do you like Wes Anderson? Do you like The Office? Do you like American adult cartoons? Well, imagine if all of those aspects I just listed came together to make a modern day commercial for a big brand. The only thing is you don’t need to imagine it, because WE ARE MAKING IT!

Our film follows Phil who’s one of those classic business CEOs you’d see in comedy movies who’s over stressed, trying to manage multiple tasks at the same time while encountering various side characters that make his overall process a lot tougher and will stress him out more while we audience members enjoy the comedy unravel. Throughout this madness, one side-character named Irfan will constantly try to introduce him to the wonders of Twinings to help him relax and enjoy the moment.

Our goal is to make this film as relatable as possible since many of us usually tend to stress over a lot of things and just sometimes need a small break to bring us back to reality, or in this case, back to ourselves, which is the Twinings motto. And my mission is to tell this as funny, entertaining, and colorful as possible. Me and my crew are already hard at work with storyboards, costume designs, shot lists, location scouting, casting and character preparations.

We have a lot of ideas in our minds on how to make this as fun and colourful as possible. And this is where you come in! You could help us bring this idea to life through costumes, props, real life sets, and of course most importantly, making sure the crew’s food and water needs are met.
