Reform UK Leeds Central & Headingley Campaign Fund

I am Jack Denny, the prospective parliamentary candidate for Leeds Central and Headingley at the next general election.

My personal priorities:

1. Reforming prisons and raising police standards

With a background in policing and prisons, I am a campaigning advocate for a long-term wider rehabilitative agenda. Our criminal justice system is fundamentally flawed with systemic operational problems responsible for an epidemic in crime within Leeds city centre and the surrounding area.

2. Strategically working on NHS policy, supporting key workers

I currently work for NHS England as I work strategically within the Health and Justice division. I understand the importance of our NHS and review prospective policy and suggest changes. The NHS needs reform and requires a reduction in waste. Our NHS needs long-term solutions and support in order for it to be there for the people of Leeds Central and Headingley. Our NHS can be more streamlined and efficient with my support.

3. Supporting higher education in Leeds and higher growth having studied and worked here

I studied my PhD and my M.A. at Leeds Beckett University. This opened many opportunities for me and allowed me to conduct pioneering research local to the constituency and support local infrastructure. Our student culture will be supported by me as it offers huge benefits in allowing our constituency to grow.

4. Committed to ‘net zero’ immigration

This means supporting our national party policy for a ‘one in, one out’ policy on immigration. This is vital to improve quality of life and to ensure our local services are efficient. Having worked at Europe’s largest Immigration Removal Centre, I have seen how our asylum and removal processes are a failure.

5. Supporting sensible carbon sustainability only

Unlike others, I am qualified in carbon literacy. Clean Air Zones are not an example of sensible sustainability, and such schemes will be blocked from being implemented in our area with myself as MP.

I want change, like most people nationally, and in our constituency. Campaigning for public office is expensive and I need all the support I can get to have the best possible chance of succeeding in this fight for our quality of life back. I am doing all I can in this fight and doing my best to get around to as many constituents as possible to speak to you personally about your views.
