After the success of the 140 year anniversary display in October of last year, Red Faction are once again appealing to the wider Boro support to express their staggering generosity by donating towards the groups funds for future displays.
The group is hoping to be able to put on a number of displays from now until the end of the season, but we will need YOUR help to achieve our goals. The size of each display will depend on how much money we can raise, from our own pockets as well as donations from the wider support so every penny really does count. We can't stress the importance that the wider support plays in our displays and from the bottom of our hearts, we're forever grateful every time somebody puts their hard earned money towards our cause. Our ideas can only become reality with your support and we can't thank you enough for this.
Donations can be made directly via this page and there will also be a bucket collection around the Riverside and in the South Stand at the home game against Manchester City.
We are entering the most critical part of the season, as the team looks to fight to retain our place in the Premier League. We saw against Bournemouth the affect that a colourful and emotionally evoking display can help massively in creating a vociferous and intimidating atmosphere within the Riverside which is unmatched in this country. The Boys End has become a unique and much envied hub of fan culture within this country, something we should all be proud of.
While there may be discontent in some quarters about the playing style on the pitch, the lads and the coaching staff need our support to help us stay in the Premier League. We didn't spend 7 years in the wilderness to go down without a fight. With 6 home games left in the league, we should all be putting our utmost effort into replicating the famous Teesside wall of noise and colour that was seen against Brighton, Hull and Reading last year. It's us, the Boro, against the world and that's exactly how we like it.
Let's all get behind the team vocally and visually. Let's fight until the end. Let's do this for Gibbo, for Ali, for the Boro.
