The President and Vice President of the VVL BOD have shown a willful disregard for community input at monthly
public meetings, have attacked individuals with threatening C&D letters sent by the BODs attorney with community funds, continue to hold secret meetings, have refused to answer questions from residents, shutting down a public meeting when faced with questions about their actions, and much more. The resulting impact of these actions has manifested itself in the form of extremely negative press on multiple television stations, radio and print media, while the BOD has remained silent towards the community exhibiting again their lack of leadership skills.
We have said that the easiest way for those inside and outside of our community to trust the leadership of VVL to be true of heart and mind, is to ask the President and Vice-President to resign. We have already asked them to do this with no response or even hint that they would step down. Absent their willingness to step down, we have begun a petition to recall the President and Vice-President so that we can demonstrate a new leadership and a board lead by people in the community that have experience, time, energy and a single minded purpose of not being a multi-term board member.
This GoFundMe has been set up to help with the costs that will be incurred with the recall process, such as mailers, signs to be placed at our entrances alerting residents of important dates, and law advice to ensure the recall is fair and just.
